People packed like sardines

Every time Sydney celebrates, people crowd around the harbor for the best spots , often days before the event. Roads around the harbour are closed off, snd often it seems every blade of grass is claimed. This is the crowd from New Years eve claiming prime real estate for the fireworks which were set off at 9pm and again at 12. Do you attract crowds for special events in your city?

I can't be bothered to go to a very packed crowd even in a very important event. But I guess, I'd risk missing the memorable event of a lifetime, again.

When I go back home for Spring festival from my work city every year, I hardly to escape from the crowd. Looking at the picture, I'm one of them every year.

yep, we have that sometimes. But i rarely join since i do not like crowds at all.

I think yes. There are celebrations here that make the road look like a can of sardines.
