Anyway, I had found some copyright infringements on French Amazon.fr. The copycats used my digital artwork on bathmats and sold them. Without any reference to me, my artist name and certainly without any compensation or royalties or whatever. Stolen artwork!
I ordered three different artworks and they were shipped rather fast. And then I did what I had planned: I filed an A to Z satisfaction claim with Amazon stating that the ordered products are not what they pretend to be.
The result: Full refund (yay, three free bathmats for our new bathrooms!) and the three products have been pulled off the marketplace.
I also did this on Spanish Amazon.es and have just filled out the form for the A to Z claim expecting another refund and three more free bathmats.
What am I going to do with six new bathroom mats?
So, what do you think about this?

They really had nerve.
Do you have anyone you can give them too if you do not need them?

They will not go to waste, I promise. I will probably donate them. They are really fluffy and cozy and someone might need them. I do not need three with the same design on them from two different sellers. Just ordered number 7 from German Amazon. It's the same seller from France

Have you been able to retrieve your original art design back and copyrite it?

Nope... how could you retrieve digital artwork back?
And why should I pay for copyright protection in the US when European Amazon has nothing to do with US laws? In Europe, we do not need a registration. Copyright is copyright, it's a right. And Chinese copycats do not have any right to sell items with my pictures on them. I have no idea where they stole them from.

Isn’t there something more you can do legally , while free bath mats is a first step it doesn’t punish them enough
