Now you see me, now you don't

The house concert is over and went off very well. Although we call them house-concerts they are actually held outside. We were lucky that the rain cleared up by the Sunday night.
We had about 120 people. One hundred is supposed to be our limit but no-one checks so we don’t worry about a few over. We rarely get up to 100 people but Eric Bogle is one of our biggest drawcards.
For many years his main support has been a man called John Munro. John was an incredible mandolin player but also sang harmony and guitar. Unfortunately he passed away in June last year. Eric has written a tribute song to him which was very moving. I’ll add the link at the bottom in case you’d like to hear it. There is a violin solo for a few minutes at the beginning.
Our guests have all gone now. I’ve nearly caught up on the laundry and the backpackers leave tomorrow morning. We also leave in the afternoon for a Country and Western Music Festival in a nearby town. Next post I’ll be able to tell you all about that.

@JudyEv i guess people already know the drill when they arrive so you don't really need to herd them? do they bring food and drinks?
