Film Sequels - Your Thoughts

I just wondered your thoughts on film sequels. I have heard that they are going to do another of "The Greatest Showman". I absolutely love this film but I am so worried that the 2nd one won't be as good as the first, which led me to think of past films that have brought out a sequel, that some were in my personal opinion were awful, and others were great. I loved Mamma Mia, however I don't feel the 2nd one "Mamma Mia-Here We Go Again" was very good. I just preferred the first one, it was funny, and emotional all at the same time. Sometimes I just feel that they should leave it alone and stick with the first. However, saying that, some of the kids films, in particular the Ice Age films were great, and you could enjoy each of them, however I feel that they have come to an end now. What film sequels have you liked or unliked?
