Dinner was cancelled due to illness in the family

First went to the hospital to see my son.
He had an attack on his lungs plus other things.
My daughter and her girl friend were supposed to come for our traditional corn beef and cabbage.
As usual we done some house cleaning and getting things going.
Mike doing a great job on the dinner.
Late afternoon my daughter call saying that she is unable to come.
Mike put in a call to find out what is going on.
Cheryl was not feeling too well.Mike said that she sound Terrible.
Well we try to get another couple in.But too late.
It will be just the three of us.Ms.Ruby will be dining with us.
Have a good evening and weekend.
