You can make
Me
Bend
But I won’t
Break.
You can take
The light
And dim it
But the light
In me
Will shine
Through
The
Darkness.
You can
Use your words
To try
To destroy me
But I’m not
Going to sit
Here
In silence.
You can
Make me
Bend
But you aren’t
Going to
Break me.
