I've been busy between several overwhelming things

First of all, the renovations have continued on. But now, we're just about to the touch-ups and paying off the contractors. The hall bathroom is gorgeous, and all mine. All we have left is to have the tub repainted. The master bath is nearly finished, with the tiler coming today to fix the floor, which was thoroughly messed up. It's been nearly a year since we signed the contracts. Oy.
Back in February, I broke a molar and spectactularly so. First, a temporary filling and trip to a specialist to get a root canal (oh frabulous joy!), and now a post installed and a fitting for a crown to occur soon.
Vey iz mir!
Positive things: I have discovered washi tape, and having great fun using it in my art journalling. Reading a lot. Watching a lot of Chinese movies -- Detective Dee and the Four Heavenly Kings, and the full edition of Empresses in the Palace on disc -- it seems that the version you see on American streaming has had more than fifty hours cut out of it.
So it goes. At least it looks like spring may be here soon.

I hope so. I am really happy about the grab bars in the shower, so my fear of falling has calmed down. And it is just nice to have the house updated. As to the teeth, who knows.

Glad the things are moving along for you and I sure do hope that spring is just around the bend. I used to love watching those Detective Charlie Chan movies.

Renovations..... I could write a book.
Getting things done in the Maritimes..... they do get done, but, in what my husband and I now call "mariTime"
Last spring we tried to get a new roof installed on our house. Eventually, in September we had a new roof. It was a beautiful job, it was done quickly, but tomorrow and next week don't mean the same thing in the Maritimes as they did in Ontario.
Then there was the basement windows. Mid January was the date given. February 28 was when the job was done.
Yup....we love the Maritimes....but not so sure about mariTime!
