Shiki a scary anime

I thought this would be a normal anime but scary. A small village far from the city knows everyone. Some of the villagers end up dying one after another. It all started with Megumi who has a crush on this boy and she wants to leave the village. She ends up being fascinated by a Europen house built on top of the hill. She ends up missing and the villagers set out in the night searching for her and they do find her but eventually she dies. After her death many others die and rise like Vampires. A doctor, few kids and a temple monk find out about whats going on in the village. So many dying and darn wow. It was scary and ok lol

Scary? I like scary. 
Is it good, though? Would you recommend it to someone who's a sucker for seinen genre? The scary part, what level is it? I mean, people kept dying in Detective Conan, but it is not scary at all.

Level of scary 6/10 and yes I would. If someone really wanna see scary they should watch corpse party.
