Mourning A Friend

I found out my friend died last night. Oddly enough I was going through papers and came across his phone number scribbled on a piece of paper. I wish I would have stopped what I was doing and called him. He was sick but dead wasn't something that anyone expected at this point in time. I am still crying and upset, but moreover I'm irked at myself that I put off calling him. He wasn't able to talk much the past year or so but he could Skype or Facetime with no problem. He is only being laid out one day then buried the next. I am sure his family has some consolation that he's not in pain any more but he will be sorely missed for years and years to come.
The next time you get a hinkey feeling or a little voice tells you to do something don't ignore it for too long.

So sorry for your loss but at the same time ure very right about not ignoring our instinct because if someone refuses to do what is right at that very moment one may end up with a very big regret

I am so sorry for your loss.
I understand what you mean, i had a best friend of 11 years and we kept saying we need to meet up again and put it off and then less than 3 months ago she passed and it's a big regret I have.
I'm sorry you and his friends and family are going through this. I hope you will be okay
