Sometimes my response or comments to a response are longer than the matter in the discussion :D :D…

Have you done the same?
Sometimes, I respond to a few discussions which are of 2 to 4 sentences and my responses have 4 to 5 sentences with many words as I try to explain the question asked..
Sometimes the question asked is very intense but nothing much is written about it in the discussion. I like the question so try to explain my views in as much detail as I can.
Have you ever responded in more words than was there in the discussion?

@Sheali Yeah I have done it. It depends what the topic is about really. There are some topics where I have a lot to say and other topics I don't have much to say.

@Sheali I understand where you are coming from. I am more quicker to answer topics that require help or advice rather than the others ones like you speak of. Nothing wrong with them either but sometimes I feel there are more urgent discussions to be answered than the fun ones. Hope that makes sense.

@VivaLaDani13 Same here.. If it a an interesting topic and the content inside the discussion has something to offer, I respond..
But some topics are very simple like do you like with the name of an object.. I won't be tempted to answer that within a few days...

@Sheali No problem.Responses and comments on a discussion may be lengthier than the discussion itself .You may express yourself in detail.

@Sheali I rarely respond in detail, because I lack time and because I know mylot is not a site for serious and detailed interaction.

I think it has happened to all of us from time to time.

I have done it again and again. I don't want to finish something halfway. I write whatever I feel is needed at the time. But there are times when the discussion can only be responded in few words or a short sentence. So it actually depends on the discussion.

I think that's the way it should be, the point is in interaction

If the discussion calls for a lengthy response I go for it
