In love with an older person

Hello everyone, nowadays it's common to see couples with a big/small age deference,
Personally I have a friend who is married with a 10 years older woman, they are in love and they seem really happy.
There is the opinion that if someone is with an older person she/he does it for a reason ( money , fame, etc).
Do you think that a couple with age deference can be happy and really in love?

@kepweng wife not wives lol anyway, I was running for a minor elected position in our community and she was one of my die hard youth leaders in the campaign so she's die hard upto now

I had a man friend after I became a widow who was over 20 years my senior. We all are with someone else for a reason. But not necessarily for the reasons that you have named. The etc could be affinity and several other reasons.

When it comes to love age doesnt matter. There is no boundary when it comes to Love.

@nick2345 Yup. thats how love works. We cant decide who to love it just come in an unexpected time with an unexpected person.

When the couples are younger and you can physically see the obvious difference in their ages you might be tempted to ask that question. But I have seen couples who are both now senior citizens and since they're both "wrinkled" you don't really notice that there is a 10 to 15 year age gap. But those couples have been happy together with each other for decades. They've been together for so long they have kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. Nobody even asks or cares about the age difference.

Depending on the ages I do. I think the older you get the less age matters like a 40 year old with a 55 year old or something. But i think if its like an 18-21 year old with someone way older im not sure just because to me it is like they're at two very different points in their life and things like that

Well, it's just a number for as long as you think the partnership works then I do not see any problem.
