Yoy know, it seems I always, or at least, most of the times, come here and talk about something sad, or about my worries... The truth is I haven't posted here since ... A lot of time! I used to read your posts and comments from time to time, as I'm always so busy!!!
I have more Spanish students now, as the site where I have my profile is quite good and I always have someone on Skype to practice Spanish. No need to say that's good, so good, as we need that money. But, on the other side, even when I first created my profile here at MyLot just to give it a chance to earn money, I then realized this is much more that just a place to earn. Ok, we all are "online" people, and our words and profiles just show the others only the things we want the other to know about ourselves.
Anyway, to the point, I think I have met here quite a lot of kind, good and interesting people! And that's so great!
I first said it seems I just come here to talk about sad things... Well. Not always, but sometimes writing is a good way to express oneself and to let those "demons" get out from you! And then, you'll feel much better!
5 years ago, my fathere died. Some people I know don't even remember the date someone loved in their families died. But I do. We do. And although my mother and my other 2 brothers and sister we live in different places in Spain, we all remember this day. 31 March. May he rest in peace.
We still love you and we miss you.
But life goes on. And I'm sure he wouldn't like to see me sad, or crying. He had such a nice personality and sense of humour! One of my best memories is when I was a little girls. He used to sing all the time, at home; or, when we had any family celebration, he was also singing. Good vibrations.
So, I want to turn my sadness in hope and I know I still can learn and put into practice the lessons of life he teached us all. I have a son, so I now realized I'd like him to remember me when I'm dead, the way I remember my father. With admiration, and proud to have had such a good parent.
(P.S. Sorry if this is not a very fun or possitive post, but having writen this has helped me a lot. )
