Long post or short ones?

Do mylotters read long posts or skip them? Sometimes I read them and comment, but most of the time I don't especially if it's too long. However, this is a blog site, right? So long posts are encouraged. Which is more interesting to read and leave comments, long posts or short ones?

I don't tend to read longer posts word for word, I just grab the meaning and move on.

I read anything of any length if it catches my interest.

Although I prefer a post that isn't too long, if the subject interests me I will read it no matter the length.

I don't mind a longer post if it's interesting, but a minute by minute discussion of one's day makes my eyes cross.
