We always cook exactly the opposite food we cook for Thanksgiving, so we don't get tired of the same food. So, usually here in the Southern part of the USA we cook a nice big juicy HAM ( any meat will do I guess ), then we always have potato salad ( you know boiled potatoes peeled, chopped onions, cut up boiled eggs, and mayonaise, a little yellow mustard for color, YUMMMM!) purple hull peas ( or any kind of peas you like) Big Fat green Lima beans, hot yeast rolls or croisants, english pea salad ( green english peas from the can not cooked, onion, grated cheese and Mayonaise ) Any other kind of vegetable, oh yeah usually corn on the cob! All the candy, cakes and pies you can bake. Now I am STARVING! Can't wait for Christmas. Oh and always macaroni and cheese for the kids.
