My take on having plans is this: You set a goal - travel to Thailand on April 27, 2019 (just an example) Create a budget. And make necessary arrangement to make that plan happen. My friends take on planning: She wants to travel to Thailand on April 27, 2019 but it depends on the surrounding factors. I want to hear your opinion on the matter. For me, planning is setting the event and date. If something comes up that coincides with that date, then I decline since I have set that plan already. This is something we always argue about. For her, planning is wanting for something but changes when things come up. I want to hear your thoughts.

It depends entirely on the situation. If a matter comes important than the planned thing then I will cancel the plan. If I planned something and less important things come up then we will stick to the already planned thing.
