So, a few days ago, at work, I was struggling to tell a customer where an item was in front of my boss. It's not a big store by any means, but she looked at me and asked me if I could see. I finally told her that everything is starting to get blurry and how far back I could actually see (which isn't that far) so, she told me I need glasses, and when I said that it's on my to-do list, she asked me why. When I told her about my financial situtation, she called up the place she gets glasses from, made me an appointment and that day (yesterday) she picked me up from work, took me there, and the very same day, I got my new glasses. That woman spent almost $200 dollars on me so that I can see and do my job better. I started crying last night after everyone went to bed because I'm so thankful. She's helped out each one of my coworkers in a different way and this job is one that I've been wanting for 3 years, and finally it's like everything is lining up to get better. I'm so happy and I can't wait to see what happens next.

@TraciDavis lol. It's nice when your work place does become kind of like a second family and you can count on the people you work with, if you need a bit of help.

Right! Last night my other coworkers tire popped, and she was in tears when she came to work, so my boss called her husband to come over and he changed her tire for her. Everyone is so wonderful and amazing. Then she told said. "Isn't that right Traci? We're a family. If you need something, say something. We'll take care of you." And gave me a wink and a huge grin. So I yelled out "Heck yeah! Cuz that's the way we do it!" lol

I'm so amazingly blessed. So, just to do something to thank her, I crocheted a cat-eared headband for her special needs daughter and fingers crossed that it fits! Boss said she'll love it, and she'll send a picture with her wearing it if she can.
