Would you push your children to excel in academics?

yes I guess all parents would want their children to excel but no pressures though.

@marieleizl exactly! We have enough pressures when we are adults, we sure don't need pressures as a child.

For me no because we can't force a student to become the best if they can't make it.But I am thankful that my two teens are very good in academic but if they are not I don't really mind.

yes, we dont want them to be pressured just the same as we dont want others to pressure us?

For me, I just give them my full support in everything they do. That's already a good motivation for them. Both my children ended school this year with honors! I'm so proud of them.

My child is in class 3 only. But no I don't like to push her on the career of my choice. She has the right to select his own career. But this is the most difficult thing to choose the correct decision. I as a mum just look after the advantages and disadvantages of her choice.

I think we should all just support our kids in what their needs and wants. Being there for them means the world to them.

When I was younger, my father always reminded us of how good to be the smartest among children out there. That is why my siblings and I were forced to study and read books every night, before sleeping. Though it had been our great motivation in education, there were still few dents of feeling like a failure at some point.
