in some cities, teachers throughout their activities in the classroom, they have that habit of playing on the phones, while they are in the period of their work

Yes. But this should be stopped. Playing with mobiles during classes makes the class disturbed. Teacher should be behave like teachers. If they busy with the mobiles then they should remain at home. School is the place for education.

Yes, in my country the teachers are not suppose to use their mobiles but they keep it in class and some teachers use it while there is a lesson.

Most of the schools have the rule for not using mobile once the class started. I am not sure about the government schools.

@emelas I would not know. When I was in school there were no cell phones so teachers had to face us and teach us. I am sorry that they are setting a bad example by playing with their phones.
