9/11 where were u and how did you feel? I was in bed when I heard of the first of the planes. When the towers fell I was sitting in my husbands work truck. The total shock of what I was hearing, I can't decribe how I felt. I lived in Calgary at the time and the airport was full of diverted planes and the security was insane. My husband was a carrier and we couldn't get a single delevery off the truck. Finally the head office called us back. When we walked into the office and saw for the first time what we where hearing about I lost control. My cousin was in New York at the time, she is a reporter, and we lost touch with her for 7 days. The scariest seven days I have ever lived. Imagine those days following that and how we felt and think, there are people who live their enter lives with that fear and terror and hate everyday of their lives.

I was at home when I heard it and at first I couldn't understand what happened. When it all sunk in I couldn't believe we'd been attacked. AT PEACE WITHIN

i first was the plane dashing against the WTC on a news channel and thought how well picturised the film shot is. When i got to know that the thing is real, i was really shocked.

I was at home, just finished a long shift at the bakery I worked at... didn't have a TV or radio, but a friend sent me an SMS saying that a plan had crashed into the World Trade Centre... at first, I thought it was the premise for a new movie at the cinemas... then about an hour later I went to a friend's place and watched the footage. It didn't affect me the way it would have affected most Americans, because I live in a different country and have no family or friends in that part of America, but I was nevertheless shocked. My heart went out to all those who lost their lives that day, as it still does.

Personally for me, I remember that day like it was only yesterday, and actually a site I will never forget to this day. I was actually sleeping when the first plane hit, but my husband came in and said the Trade Tower was on fire, and I figured I would come watch TV to see what was going on. Just as I walked in when they had the News on, I seen the 2nd plane hit, and oh what an eerie feeling that was. Personally, it is something I will never forget, and all I know is I was glued to the TV the rest of that day until I had to go to work in shock like the rest of the world for sure.
