What kind of reader are you?

Some people read books one chapter at the time, enjoying the book without stressing to get to the end. Others, like me, reads the whole night if the find a book they like. Luckily I'm a fast reader so if I don't have other things to do I'll finish a book in an evening (possibly night). What kind of reader are you? And what do you read? Magazines, books, blogs, only mylot-posts?

If I really like a book I finish it in one day or two days. Sometimes I read late all night. Books that are less interesting take me much longer to finish, so it really depends on the book. I read books, magazines, newspapers and things online. I love reading, and I couldn't imagine a life without books.

I tend to either finish it fast or give up. If I have to read it and it's boring I'll try to press on so the pain doesn't last to long. Worked fine for studying. I agree with you about a life without books, there would be something lacking

@Torunn I get a lot of my books from the library, and I don't finish all of them. Sometimes I try to give the book a chance because I am hoping that it will get better. If I still don't like it, I often choose to return it to the library without reading the rest it.

@Porcospino I have some books I've bought, started and never finished. They're around here somewhere, I should find them and donate them. Maybe someone else want to read them.

I read all sorts of things. I usually take a book along with me wherever I go. Sometimes I get through a book in a day. Other times, two, unless it's really thick.

I used to do that. Then I bought a big camera so now it's the camera that comes along.

It really depends on the book, if it is one I really like, I will it almost continually until I am done, if it is one that is kind of slow I will just read when I feel like it.

I'm currently at one somewhere in the middle. It's good, but it's written around an Icelandic saga so I know what happens, therefor it's OK to read it in parts.

I read pretty fast I suppose. Last year I read over 60 books. This year I doubt I'll read that much. Largely becaue they closed the branch of the library closest to me. I read mainly on my lunch break at wor (30 mins) or during my hot bath therapy at night (30 min to as long as 3 hours) I like fictional books the most. Horror, thriller, mystery. Teen fiction too. I read a lot of different genres. I do read magazines, blogs, facebook, mylot posts too...that's outside of my book reading.

60 books a year is great! Closing library is just sad :-/ Do they have an option for renting things online? Or book-bus? I think what they're doing in Norway is that they cooperate with schools so everyone can borrow books at school libraries, and also order from other libraries. That works pretty well.
