It's pouring rain and the dogs are driving me crazy

It rained most of the day yesterday, but that was a pretty gentle rain. Today the rain is not gentle. It is pounding down, with occasional thunder. Chopper does not mind it so much, but my mom has two little dogs, Gypsy and Chulita. Gypsy is some kind of Chihuahua mix, and Chulita is her daughter. Gypsy is absolutely terrified. I cannot take a step without her between my feet. When the thunder comes, it is even worse. Are your dogs afraid of rain and thunder?
