Do you need glasses to find your glasses?

I feel like that sometimes. My eyesight isn't all that bad but then it is if I'm not looking hard enough, or if things blend in together. It took me a minute to find my glasses just now. I took them off to let a five year old trim my eyebrows and... Okay, so I didn't let any five year old trim them but that's my story if anyone asks.
I trimmed my own and underestimated the shear (hehe get it, shear instead of sheer) power of the scissors. It honestly doesn't look all that bad, I evened it out a bit.. It just looks a little more trimmed than I had anticipated..
Anyway, does anyone else need glasses to find your glasses?

My glasses are one of the few things I NEVER misplace. They're either on the bathroom counter (while I shower) or on my bedside table (while I sleep). I do have to admit that I have spent a few minutes on occasion groping around on the floor because they've accidentally been knocked off of the bedside table.
My youngest daughter started wearing glasses at the age of 3. People used to ask me how I managed to get her to wear them and how we managed to never lose them. It was easy. Once she got used to wearing them (the first week required a bit of bribing) she discovered she couldn't function without them.

I've been wearing glasses since I was a little girl as well. I hated mine though and I'm sure I was a tyrant about them.
I keep mine beside my bed when I'm sleeping, but I leave them in my room when I go to take a shower. However, I sometimes place them on different surfaces without thinking and that's when the fun of "where did I put them?" happens.
I misplace sunglasses quite a bit too. I haven't lost any in awhile, except for the ones I lost at my friends last week. She found them, but I had already bought a replacement pair. Atleast I have two now.
I need to get two pairs of corrective lenses as well.

I am not that bad but I also have astigmatism. I think it accounts for some of my problem with light sensitivity.

@ScribbledAdNauseum probably so. I wish I didn't have to wear glasses. My eyes are too dry to wear contacts.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I have some more pair of glasses but these are old one. So mostly I also used light to clean my glasses.

I usually get someone else in my family to clean mine, or else I clean them over a bright light so I can see the dirt and smudges.

I thought about buying reading glasses. I even looked through a pair or two at one time but none of them would work for me.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I could not use reading glasses to work at my computer, but they work to read.

I usually remember where I put my glasses. I trimmed my eyebrows too. I once trimmed them too much too. No one said anything about them.

I once did it so bad that I had to get an eyebrow pencil and pencil them on.This won't be so noticeable if I put my glasses on and if I let my hair kind of cover it.

That would be nice, wouldn't it? I'd have to slap one on my remote controls and my cellphone too.
I lose things easily.

Good idea. I only have the one pair. I need to get back to the eye doctors and get a new pair.

Mine really aren't too bad, I just need to be more observant.

That's when I need mine the most, but I wear them all the time. I have astigmatism.
