My! Not me!

I have no idea why I keep on making this mistake. I don't do it every time but I notice I make this mistake a lot when reading through a comment I just made.
When I'm supposed to type the word "my", I often accidentally type "me." I never notice it until I am reading it again. And the mistake is never the other way around either. I have never accidentally typed "me" instead of "my."
So I will end up saying something like "I went off to me grandparents house."
Makes me sound like I'm trying to pull off some accent.
Do you ever notice a mistake you keep doing over and over?

For whatever reason I often miss the e on the word the. I don't know why....but it's my most common typo.

@Morleyhunt Thank you for sharing. I wonder why that happens. Still, very interesting that that can be a typo for someone.

@VivaLaDani13 I am glad that Admin does not pretend perfect grammar. Many non English speaking members would be out.

@LadyDuck No worries at all. They are just little mistakes anyway. I'm really glad there hasn't been any super grammar police here. They can make people feel uncomfortable sometimes.

@May2k8 Oh really? That is interesting! Because for me, "She" is girl / woman. "He" is boy / man. I've never known it to mean either before. Wouldn't that be a bit confusing though?

OMG I make the same mistake as you. Instead of typing ' in the web address bar, I sometimes type 'www.melot.com, which doesn't exist. I freak out when my browser tells me it can't connect to the site's server, making me think myLot's gone offline. I read the url again and then notice my mistake. Silly me...

@Bullshark haha! I can honestly imagine the freaking out part. I would freak out too as I love it here!
It's cool to know someone else who makes the same mistake as me!

I always misspell the word taht (that) and I have always to correct it. I type with one finger from each hand and I guess my left hand is faster than my right hand.

@VivaLaDani13 I do vary the fingers if I'm not in a rush. The index finger on my right hand and the middle finger on the left hand are used the most . When it comes to the mouse I switch hands when one is tired.

@1hopefulman I have seen that happen quite a lot actually. Not by me but others. I am guessing because T and H are very close together on the keyboard.
My dad types with one finger from each hand too. I think I use about 6 fingers depending on what I am typing. I don't seem to use the pinky finger or the one next to it on my right hand.

@JESSY3236 I have done that a few times actually. Maybe because the T is really close to the H so possibly not letting go of the Shift button quick enough? Not sure.

@debjani1 Possibly. Not sure. I am pretty used to the keyboard now since I've been typing since I was a young teenager. I can almost always look away from the keyboard while typing. But yeah I don't know. Guess just a little mistake that we can all do at times.

It is sort of a relief that native English speakers make mistakes too, I mean don't get me wrong. I know you noticed it and will correct it. But some of us who love English still deal with some grammar mistakes, pronunciation and I haven't mentioned fluency when speaking. lol.
