Movie Talk - Asian Horror

I watched this Asian horror movie the other night with English subtitles and I am puzzled by one thing from the scene. It seems that the ghosts in it is reduced to smoke or vanish when they are flashed with the mobile camera.
How on earth is that possible? I know that it's just a plot from a movie, but still. Thoughts?

@ihasaquestion Do you believe in ghosts?I do.I have read somewhere that ghosts can't be captured on an ordinary camera. But you are talking about a movie. It may be a technic.

Yeah, I do. I believe that there are other entities living on our realm as well. In fact, that's also my thinking..that ghosts can't be captured on camera. But if you go to YouTube, there are some evidences "captured" which leaves a lot of room for thought there.

@ihasaquestion I have seen these videos and am told that most of them are fake.In a book on the paranormal I have read that you can't capture a ghost on camera.I have never encountered a ghost, but strongly believe they exist. The universe we live in is mysterious and what we know about it just the tip of an iceberg.

@Shivram59 I agree with you absolutely. Perhaps one can prove a scratch door or any other evidences, but one can't really capture ghosts on camera..

@ihasaquestion Without seeing it, I honestly haven't a clue nor have an idea. I guess they were just trying out something that wasn't so common in movies maybe.

They're afraid of light for they do live in darkness.
