Not for tomorrow, though. But when I invite her, I have to see when she can come. She is my very nice and loving 96 year old aunt.
She loves pancakes very much. When I say pancakes, I really mean crepes and she likes them with something salty to serve as a main dish.
My aunt is of the old school and she will not eat meat on the holy Week. So I told her about some pancakes filled with creamy kale sauce spiced with cream and Parmesan cheese. She was happy to come on Good Friday. She will bring a can of sardines (she needs to bring something
) and I´ll have some lettuce to put the sardine over it.
I am blessed to have her still. She is a wonderful woman

My aunt, at her age, still has much to say and to teach us all. Maybe if we spent some of our time with our elders, we would be better people.

God bless both of you and hope you have a nice and pleasant time. Old school Catholics here most of the time abstain from eating meat only on good Friday or at times also Maundy Thursday but not the whole week.

I am not sure here, but I do know that my aunt will not eat meat on Good Friday. She will be happy with the pancakes.

Hope you enjoy your aunt's visit. I have made thin pancakes rolled around smoked salmon and some sauce made with mayo and horseradish and that has been delicious.
