its nuthin to do wid alphabets and characters.... monday comes before tuesday because.."we want it so..." if we wanted to let monday after tuesday...then u wud hv asked "y tuesday comes before monday"....

My kid ask me this one. I answered, Moon needs to be near to the Sun to take over the duties. That is why after Sunday comes Moonday....
