Our elders used copper vessels but I noticed they always got them tin coated. Research has it that storing water in copper vessels has several health benefits. While what is researched could be true being used to using copper vessels coated with tin will make me uncomfortable drinking water stored in uncoated copper vessels. Our elders are no more and I only wish I had asked them why they coated those vessels with tin.
Most of us must have heard out grandparents tell us that drinking water stored in a copper vessel is beneficial to our health. So much so that some people...

We never used copper to store water, I have seen my grandparents using dried squashes, those with the long neck.

I heard that. However, I think the best water container will be made of glass. It is pure and it won't make any kind of chemical effects even if the water temperature is hot. It is easy to clean. I don't like metal water container.

@allknowing I don't need any extra. The water will be good enough. I can get the minor elements from natural food.

I never knew that there is a benefit for this kind of water container. Now a days if we are using a plastic container or for drinking then definitely this not good for human health.

@allknowing yeah and hope that there will be more alternatives not to use it. Not to mention that is also not good for our mother nature.

I am seeing this all over the place. I remember my grandmother had copper cups that she used all of the time. Funny how things make a comeback.
