Have you ever been going through stuff to find something you didn't remember?
I was going through a few things of Mama's RIP just trinkets and was shocked to find a locket I had long since forgotten about.
I must have put it away when I was done with it many years ago.
It was a tiny heart locket with a pic of myself and my first husband.
It made me sad to see it, yet happy at the same time.
So did you ever find something long forgotten?

@TiarasOceanView Really pretty locket. I do find some things here and there when I do a major clean in certain rooms and boxes. And over time I try to throw things out or sell when I'm ready to part with them.

That is a lovely locket.
Yes I come across such forgotten things and memories whenever I do a deep cleaning and decluttering of house and it happens twice a year.
Now I am at my native and I have got hold of some old pictures of my college days. So too much of nostalgia.

@TiarasOceanView My daughters are not letting us keep back those albums. They are so excited to see them everyday and have so many questions to ask.

When I had returned from a foreign holiday I had a 100 dollar bill which I thought I had kept it safely. I could not find it but when much later while sorting out papers I found it there.

Believe me, I found plenty of things going through my house in Latvia. Things I was glad to find and things I wished I had not found, Then in my upset frame of mind I had to go through treasure hunting all over again when the boxes I packed arrived from Latvia. Can you imagine what I have sitting on top of my videos? A hat my dad used to wear which traveled from the US to Latvia and now back to the US and an Australian cowboy hat my late husband used to wear. They are sitting side by side now. I tell you the things you can dig up. Happy Easter to you and yours.

Yes, I have a raincoat that I bought and rarely used. I got to thinking about it because it became the rainy season. Looked and couldn't find it. Weeks went by and just by chance I looked in my Mother's closet, she too passed and there it was hanging in her closet.

Thank you. She passed only in 2017 so I still feel sad about it, but got a feeling that you never get over loosing your loved ones. I'll be going to church where I can safely bring flowers for her and the rest of my ancestors at our family niche. Where my Mother is buried is very far and is over 2 miles walk to it's secluded but peaceful resting place...no car so we agreed before she passed, I would only go to church to bring flowers for her. Safeway has the prettiest, freshest and least expensive cut flowers. So the Friday, $5 Friday, I'll get some nice flowers for her and the rest of my ancestors.
