Some people can be very rude

Today I decided to go shopping, and it was very cold outside. Instead of putting my cart away, I put it beside my truck. A handicapped person tried to park his truck and started to yell profanities back at me to move the shopping cart. I had my small son with me, which made me very mad. What would you do if that was you???

just had to say looks like you both could use some anger management lol you were wrong with the cart, you used it, should have just taken it back to front of store, or put it in the carts zone which most stores now have usually in middle of the parking isle. which ever is closest. now for other mad person he had no right to use his foul mouth around your child. if he wasn't handicapped should not have parked there himself. should be thankful didn't happen in usa they tow cars away for not having a visable permit in the front window. think they only ticket them up here. remember 2 wrongs don't make a right...lol

Your very right, two wrongs don't make a right. But on another not, If he had only rolled down his window and asked me to move the cart, I wouldn't of had a problem. But I'm not going to let some-one's bad behavior push me around. People shouldn't be subjected to verbal abuse, no matter where you are and what you are doing. It's better to be thought of a fool then to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

well he should not have been rude but leaving your cart where it was is not so great I sat and watched yesterday at our shopping center where the wind was blowing gale force and shopping carts just left free were being blown into cars with pretty good force those put in the designated places were chained in and not free to blow across the parking lot no never leave a cart out loose like that as one day your car might be the one a loose cart careened into and dented your fender. I know it was cold and the man should not have yelled but you should not leave your cart just anywhere no offense meant.

Yes I would of move the cart if he had only asked nicely, instead of screamming that the spot was for only handycapped, not for carts.

Yes I moved the cart, but then I proceeded to start to fight back. I asked him if he was lazy, Because he could walk into the store fine, but he couldn,t move a cart??? I fell bad for letting people bug me.

Well, he was definitely wrong with yelling profanities at you. He could have asked politely. But, you were also wrong in that you put the cart there in the first place. One thing that I know is that a lot of people who use the handicapped space have chair lifts. They can't use those lifts if there is a cart parked in the spot or in the crossed lines of those spots. I don't know if that's what you did or not. It's entirely possible that this man had had a lot of problems in the past with people leaving carts in those spaces and him not being able to get out of his truck because of it. He was basically taking out all his frustrations on you because he happened to see you right there at that moment put the cart there.
