This is a hard one for me because the 70s are one of my favourite era's for music so picking just one song it tricky. Some of my favourite Artists from the 70s include; David Bowie Pink Floyd Bruce Springstein Neil Young Lynard Skynard Bob Dylan T Rex The Song I am going to chose is Oh You Pretty Things by David Bowie. I love David Bowie and was even lucky enough to see him live once when I was 18. I love how exclectic his music is and how he has changed so much over the years. I was so upset when he died and think the world lost a true music genius that day. This was released on the Hunky Dory Album in 1971
The 2nd track on David Bowie's 4th album, "Hunky Dory".

Even though 70s was a big era in music for me, David Bowie would not have been on my top ten list. That's the great thing about music though. Everybody has their own preferences, and it's great to get someone else's perspective. Bowie certainly was a musical innovator, and very influential in the music world. It's so hard when musicians that we love die. They are so much a part of our lives, it's almost like we've lost a friend.
