You know them and you do not like them, I mean you like them but not what they are, Those people!
The people who spread whatever they hear an add more, if they see fit.
Gossipers.
There is one that calls every now and then. So, he got nothing! he did not get a confirmation of any of the other things he asked about the family, the call ended very fast when he was asked about his family, haha! he doesn`t want to let anyone know about his business.
So, next time they say " I heard you have been sick." they are picking for something to talk about, just say " No I am well, who told you that lie?" 
And start asking them about their life.

Oooh, slam them hard haha I had to deal with a lot of gossip and the rumor mill and I always said, "You guys make me so much cooler than I really am. Thanks!" Haha

I am not fond of gossipers but they do offer the chance to hear some really tall tales. I am glad there is no one to gossip about me and I have no one from whom I might hear gossip.
just play the game and go with the music or ignore!

Gossipers are people I say away from. I know, you can't always do that, but like you, I give them nothing and get them out of my way. I am too busy for those games.

I don't like people who add some artificial story with the original one. They just want to make the topic long to discuss and have some fun. I tried to maintain the distance from those people.
