I speak English as a second language, but I have been trying to learn Italian. It does help to learn some pronunciation from music, but it isn't all about that, you will eventually need to know its grammar, past tenses, simple future, past participle, etc and believe me that's not all in music lyrics LOL it wish it was true :(

I have heard that learning a language through music is supposed to be beneficial. I think it helps with pronounciation of the words if nothing else.
I do listen to music in different languages.

No listening music cannot teach the language. To learn the language we should know the meaning of the words too.
