We did our huge family history project scanning mu fathers old slides and pictures. We ended up getting an Epson flatbed scanner. Anyone else have a scanner at home?

My printer doubles as a scanner.

Mine also, though it’s finicky. Most the time I use my phone to ‘scan’ something I need rather than mess with the printer.

@WiseGhots I have changed the printer 3 times, before it was very troublesome.

I just had to buy a new printer. It's a 3-in-1 that prints remotely, and automatically orders new ink for itself. Loving it so far!

The printer 3 in 1's are very nice. I haven't tried one of the ones that allow you to let it order its ink yet.

I have a slide scanner somewhere. I haven't used it for ages, sorting out my slides and scanning some of them are on the list of things I should do at some point but right now not top priority. It's more than good enough for online stuff but not for prints, so I might get some of the slides scanned by a photo store. They usually have really good scanners and clean the slides without ruining them first.
