Would you have all your teeth crowned if you were young?

I am 28 years old. I have tooth decay. Some cavities are small and not all teeth need a crown. But my dentist wants me to have all my teeth crowned. It doesn't matter if they have small cavities. She wants to do root canals at each tooth. Is this a good decision?
Another dentist said that I can have fillings. But this one really wants to crown all my teeth. And she wants me to have many root canals.

Did she tell you why she suggests root canals and crowns for every tooth? The dentists I have met would only consider root canal and crowns if the cavity is very big. If the cavity is small they usually choose a filling instead. Root canals and crowns for every tooth sounds like an unusual idea, that is why I was wondering if there is a particular reason why she suggests that.

@dya80dya I see. I am not a dentist, but it sounds drastic and extremely expensive to me.

@Porcospino I agree. I don't have money for that. It's very expensive.
