Do you listen to Podcasts or Ted Talks?

I have yet to listen to a Ted Talk, but I have started getting into Podcasts. I saw on Dr. Phil how to bring them up on an Android phone, so I have listened to some. Now also, I am on Podcoin, so I listen to them with hope of compensation. My favorite is 7 Good Minutes, I think is the name of it, which is an inspirational podcast. It is like listening to a sermon or a self help talk boiled down to the essential message. I like it because I don't have to sit through or listen to things that I am not interested in, to get to the core.

@snowy22315 It is a story told through radio broadcasts about a town known as Nightvale. One of the best descriptions of it is "if Stephen King and Neil Gaiman started a game of SIMS and then just left it running forever."

@TiarasOceanView You might like readercoin..there are some of those on there. Except one of the stories was read by the author who was some young guy who was the author..and it was painful listening to him read. He kept correcting himself, and hesitating..geez..his mother must own the service or something! It was probably designed for a YA audience.

@snowy22315 I know a lot of people like them. I guess I like to listen to horror stories more.

I don't listen to TED Talks either, but I have listened to podcasts. There are book related podcasts. I used to listen to Sherlock Holmes as I walked around the neighborhood. The episodes usually lasted as long as I walked which was perfect for me.

@snowy22315 I probably make it seem that way. I actually have been stuck on the same book for probably a week now. I do love to read and prefer it to watching television though.

Some podcasts can help you live better. Besides most are not long.

Yes, the Ted Talk would have to be pretty short for me to get into it.
