I saw this sign too a couple of days at the railway station waiting room. It says to keep "another valuable" safe! I wonder which this is. I guess they did not get it checked or proof read before making this sign!

I guess the other "valuable" is subjective. It depends on what's valuable to you

It might be different for different people. I think they don't want to take a chance by missing out anything. So this other valuable is like etc..

I have seen many 'nonsense' boards like that. Some are not at all bother about the silly mistakes while making such boards.

@pitstop We have to be careful while making boards for public. It is really a shame to make such silly mistakes. I don't think any one do the proof reading works.

we have those signs here, too, though worded differently. i guess they meant "and any other valuables/valuable items"
