Not sure how I stumbled across this picture, but there it is. It is me. I have no idea how old I was. I think I was probably MAYBE 10. I will be 46 in June and I look very much different than I did back then.
Man, where does the time go?
It's my sister in the background. She is 44 these days. The dog is our old pooch from back in the day. His name was Pepper. Of course, he was a miniature Schnauzer. He actually lived a long time.
The last time I saw him was when I came home from the military for my sister's high school graduation.
There are times when I wish I could go back in time. There are times when I wish I could be that little kid again. Of course we cannot do that. It is strange to me sometimes to look back on myself and think that was me. He looks so free. He looks so happy. He looks so young.
Life is a funny thing. And it goes by so fast. Just thought I would share.

Yes, the young kid really has it going on Even that shirt is stylish. If we only had a Time Machine. Oh by the way, have you continued to dress in style as an adult?

@porwest Yes I know the feeling. As my decades old clothes can attest

@dgobucks226 I sometimes wonder if I am lost in the past or just cheap, but I swear I have shirts that are decades old and I still wear them.

You look ornery and full of life. I like old pictures, but I do not want to go back, I think I am happier now.

Ornery? lol. You are probably right. I certainly was a little devil. There are things about then and now I like and of course things about then and now that I did not like. I suppose things are what they are, you can't go back, so the best next thing is to just make the most out of the now.

I wonder if any of us had any idea where we would be today... I was thinking about my old high school years and how much as changed over the years. Never dreamed I would ever be a grandmother lol... Life definitely takes you in directions you never imagined.

Wonderful photo and wonderful memories. I always agree with that saying life seems to go by in the blink of an eye.

I love looking at the pictures of the past, such a less stressful life back in those days. You have the same smile as you did when you were young.

These old photos do this to us, don't they? I think it's called nostalgia. lol It's probably a sign that you're getting old.

It goes by way too fast; and we all think about going back to those simpler times. Nice picture.
