Do you prefer your taco's Authentic or Appropriated ?

I have never had an authentic taco, but when we have them I do love a lot of shredded cheddar cheese on mine.

Whats the difference between the two?

I'm not terribly pickly . . . if the taco is edible, I will eat it .

I thought that I would have to give up tacos when we stopped eating meat!! Didn't happen. There are so many veggie versions available... you would never know the difference! We even found veggie bacon that is better than the real thing... I don't think that I have found a mexican dish I didn't like!!

Tbh the only experience I have with authentic tacos is these tiny snack size things filled with a teaspoon of seasoned meat and loaded with cliantro. Unfortunately I have the soap gene but If I ask them to hold the cilantro then I'll just have a super pathetic taco and besides cilantro is supposed to be good for you so I just bear with it. Authentic. Or as close to authentic as possible. I am going to a friends and we are having a little get together with other friends and family. She actually smoked a brisket a couple of weeks ago. She grinded up the leftovers and froze it for Cinco De Mayo. We will have cilantro, onion, crema (sour cream), and cheese with ours. We are having some "white people" food. Like I am bringing cookies. We will also have chips and dip. There is nothing wrong with the "appropriated" version though.

I love seasoned beef, cheese, sour cream and tomatoes on mine. My mama was born May 28 th.

I have never had one they do not appeal to me!

Just meat, cheese, lettuce, olives, raisins.

Never tried to eat taco, what is taste?
