to clarify:i wasn't picking on them. local we have somewhat of a problem with panhandlers..these are not homeless,they are true beggars.some have blown through their state check in one day..others,well..they just realized they make more money begging than working. ..anyway.. now,sometimes i'll give them change.or a smoke..if i'm in a good mood,and they're not being demanding jerks. there's this one guy who asks a lot..always seems to be short on bus fare. i was in a good mood so i told him "i'll tell you what.tell me a joke,and i'll give you some change". he's all "for reals?" (he was laughing) yup.for reals. took him a second,but he did tell me a joke.it was funny,so i gave him some change. this other guy plays guitar..i asked him if he can play 2 bars of any type o negative song,i'll give him some change. he did know one.so i actually gave him 5 bucks.i was gonna give him some change anyway,but i was curious. when people have a sense of humor,it's so much better. and they smiled too.
