I was with my former office colleagues yesterday and we were singing like in a karaoke. I suddenly thought of the song sad movies and I sang it. Although it is a sad song, I find it entertaining. Aside from the catchy tune, the lyrics for me are really cool. My favorite line on the lyrics is “and in the middle of the color cartoon I started to cry” I find it funny yet sad at the same time but still entertaining. Most of the time when I listen to old songs, I think that the lyrics of old songs are better just like sad movies. What do you think of the song? Here’s the song if you’re not familiar with it.

@bunnybon7 country songs are easy on the ears and can be relaxing and give you a happy mood. I feel you. Though I didn’t know that man I had singer crushes back then too.

It’s about a lady who went to the cinema alone because her man told her that he can’t go. On the cinema, she saw her best friend and her man together. They even kissed so the lady cried while watching a cartoon movie. To avoid having to lie to her mom when she went home, she just said sad movies make her cry.

I also like old songs not because I'm that old but really for me some old songs are far better than some songs of today...tried singing that too but I got a low voice so I tried others like ahh...there are too many to choose from oldies but believe me it never created catastrophe once I held that microphone.....

my voice is low too but I really enjoy singing this and mostly old songs. I feel the same way. I actually my boyfriend’s amused face while I was singing so I’m also laughing but I enjoyed it more. What old song is on top of your mind now?

@weevee18 Speaking of old songs and Sad Movies...she has also her own version of it,( Vilma Santos)..and her song "Kiss me kiss me."...would make me sway and move while singing...(now Sarah G., has her own version of it)......

One of the songs that comes into my mind is "My Heart Will Go On" by Celine Dione. Gee everytime I listen to that one, my heart breaks!

@weevee18 Totally. When I see it on tv I just can't change the channel, I need to watch it over and over again. When the song comes in the movie, It is like I am about to cry. Oh man, I shouldn't say that! LOL
