What should I do?

I have this friend and also my co-worker. He works under me. He is almost 2 years working with us now. But my problem with him is that he frequently asks irrelevant questions that only requires such obvious common sense answers. Sometimes I get irritated by that because he should know those stuffs now. But I still answer him properly but has a deep impact (like saying you should take note of that).
And also he has a Bachelors degree. And also graduated as a
Magna CumLaude. I am always hesitating every time he asks me those questions if I should be prank on him. I always think of our friendship because If I do that for sure we will be having a war.

Sometimes we need to overlook such things if the concerned person is good at heart

@psanasangma yes it is, it came to the point that whenever he calls my name is our GC because he's got a question, my expression would be "What is it now?"

yeah, we already did that, But still he kept on doing it, Like yesterday, He was task to send a declaration page and invoice. But that carrier has the documents in one pdf file, he asks me what should he do So I told him either way, if he will separate those or not, it doesnt matter, But then he answered okay, I will just ask the other bosses since this is a big deal.
He always does that. He asks me questions and if his not satisfied he will go to the other bosses but he always gets the same answer.

He seems to be unsure of what he is doing and may be seeking reassurance that he is doing things right. Best to be kind!

If I were you I'd either tell him to start writing things down, so he can remember, or tell him if there's any issue with his memory. I guess he suffers from short memory, or something.

@joeyaj Oh I hope it isn't a mental condition, what if the likes you and that's why he asks you all the time the same question? I mean like if he wanted to be closer to you.
