Is there any food that when you see, smell or eat automatically takes you to your childhood making making you remember some moment (or someone) special?
Food is much more than something that feeds us ... It's a pity that many people don't realize it because food has a lot of power!
In my case... All my granmother's recipes!

Good old-fashioned gooey cheese dripping off the spoon mac and cheese. My mother used to make it and I did too when my kids were small before that packaged garbage came out. How someone can call that good food is beyond me. Give me that mac and cheese with four kinds of cheese in it, and I'll take that spoon too and enjoy the cheese dripping from it.
Another was my mother's meatloaf. I make it how she did and love it. It's good to bring back those childhood memories.

I always remember the taste of noodles my father made. A taste that I will never get anywhere else.

Yes! Definitely!! A lot of it for me is eating at certain restaurants or having certain packaged foods because my family didn't cook a lot growing up, but lots of foods and smells definitely remind me of childhood :)

Yes a lot of them actually, It reminds me of my childhood and just the smell of them sort of bring me back to time when I was a child. It's a nostalgic feeling.
