Ice Cream for Dessert

Treated myself today with some vanilla bean ice cream drizzled with chocolate syrup. Vanilla bean is hard to beat. Although I enjoy all different flavors of ice cream. Today I was in the mood for this combination. And it was oh so good.
I think we should all treat ourselves from time to time. All in moderation of course.

A nice fudgey chocolate brownie a couple of days ago. Ice cream is in the top 5 of my favorite foods.

@CarolDM Me too. I make a pretty good cheesecake. I like it topped with blueberry pie filling or pineapple. Or I like to mix some lemon pie filling in with the cheesecake mixture and put the rest on top.

@LindaOHio I have not made in one in awhile. I usually buy mine. But homemade is always better. I actually like mine plain.

@CarolDM I just got my blood test results and see I have high cholesterol. I will start on barley water which is great for reducing weight and there is niacin in it that should help me keep my cholesterol in check

Vanilla is one of my favorite ice cream flavours! Enjoy your ice cream Carol. I have a big butter cookie that my dad bought me at the bakery. I am just keeping it to eat it at midnight when I will be binge watching a show I am currently into.
