Nice suprises

When my boss came to the center I was working at today (she goes back and forth between the two centers she directs) she said hello to me and asked me how I was doing, then she said, "Oh, I have something for you." and pulled out a card and a little package that she said were from kids at the other center (the one I prefer to work at). I was busy, so I put them aside. On my lunch break later, I decided to open them. One was from this little gal who, when I first laid eyes on her, I thought was pretty enough to belong on one of those kid pageant things (the little candle) and the card was from another little guy who I find to be just a hoot. Both of them sweet kids, though. The little candle smells really good, and the card said: Miss Stacey: Thank you for watching us while we rest ! ...in the mom's handwriting, and the little dude "signed" his name. The card also came with a Starbuck's gift card. This was for, I'm guessing, "Teacher Appreciation Day", which was two or three days ago, I think, but they were super nice to receive today, regardless.
