Where do you frequent for regular online work?

I am currently in a bit of a glut. I have lost my job and while I am applying for other ones I am doing bits of work online to pass the time and to earn, what I can only describe as beer tokens.
Taking the massive pay cut that I must for most of the jobs I can do, I am taking an even larger pay cut by doing work online.
Most of the freelancing sites for bloggers appear to be rubbish. The work being touted for is massively underpaid and massively over-subscribed by people offering to charge even less.
I am currently doing some work on audio transcription, but even frequenting many of the "stay at home" or money saving websites I seem to be drawing more and more blanks.
Where do you look when you need beer tokens (or indeed wine tokens or whisky tokens)?

Welcome to myLot. Enjoy the site!
The first step for all newbies is to read the Guidelines to learn what is allowed or not on the site. Then you can write a post introducing yourself. Tell us a bit about yourself.
Furthermore, read around as much as you can, Like and Comment on other members' posts. Only then will members come to your site and do the same. This is called interaction.
Don't expect too much money-wise. If you reach $5 a month (the payout limit), you can call yourself lucky.

Hi M.-L.
Thank you for your comment. I was not looking at myLot as a money generating site, but more of a discussion forum and opening a discussion about where people recommend. I actually got signposted from someone tweet, thinking they were referring me to their own website!
I have been trying to update my settings, but I keep getting various terminal errors and crashing when I update things like my photo. So this post was predominantly to test that at least this bit was working!
GB.
Edited to add: and now I have removed my full name... did not like that!

Upworks.com offers all kinds of jobs from people who hire online workers for many skills. I have been hired to do transcription jobs for several people there. People hire for lots of things. Graphics, writing projects, transcription, virtual assistants, to name a few. It is free to join and find jobs and the company takes only a small cut from your earnings.
