Is mylot a work for you?

Yes, if we consider it a work would rob the fun. We come here if we want.

@lyndakerby As a business student 15 years back, we were always taught about maximizing profit. And in my personal life, I think of time lost as opportunity cost. I dont want that thinking anymore. There are things that make us happy more than money.

@dya80dya I would say both habit and hobby with a desire to earn a few pennies to buy a treat.

So it's also a work for you. It was a work before for me, but now I like it. It's my hobby. Maybe we can say that it's a paid hobby.

@Sojourn Even if we earn little extra money it adds up. And mylot can be considered as therapy. Many times I forget about my problems when I write here. And I practice my English.

Yes, mylot can't pay even the electricity. After a few months mylot can pay the electricity. The money adds up.

@dya80dya but them if we wait for that, they will cut our connection hahhaha. I try to save mylot earnings because there is a stuff i wanna buy with it so that i can see always my good memories with mylot through a tangible object.

@dya80dya mylot is an online hangout for me to see what's up with everyone. sometimes i participate, sometimes i just read, like and observe people. if this were a job, then i would have been fired a long time ago. a job means you are required to be there at specific times, have specific tasks to do during your shift and your output and performance evaluated. you can't apply all that here.

Yes, a job is stressful and well paid. Here we are not stressed and the payment is very small. Is my lot a hobby for you?

Why isn't mylot enjoyable for you?

For most people it's a hobby, but new members consider mylot a work. Maybe they don't know that they will not earn too much.
