Chinese Tariff's

Everyone seems concerned about the US placing tariff's on China. Well considering we only import 15% of our goods from them, we can import those same products from other countries OR produce them here; which is what we USE to do.
But gee, why would the CEO's in the US want to pay it's employees $15 to $20 an hour when they can move their factories over to China and pay the employees only $5 an hour.
One of the biggest concerns should be the recalls of blood pressure meds made in China that contain a cancer-causing agent. 77.9 million Americans; that's 1 out of every 3 adults take BP meds.
Heck, China doesn't have to send bombs into the US; they're going about it in a more convenient way. So placing tariff's on China is a good thing in my book.

I disagree with you. Trump is doing what other US presidents like Clinton or George W Bush should have done, i.e., to stand up to the Chinese unfair trade practices and intellectual property theft. In short, US Govt finally started working in the interest of its citizens

That's why I wish the governments would quit acting like 2-year-olds on a play ground fighting over a toy. @vipt258 .

I am amazed to see so much support to the actions of Trump in mylot. I was going through comments section of a post by Business Insider and I noticed that 9 out of 10 Americans are against Trump. By the way I believe Trump is doing right thing by standing up to the Chinese unfair trade practices

Why is it the US always pays tariff's but other countries seem to get away with none or less. To paraphrase liberal language, the Chinese are rich and can afford to pay them.
