Pouring wine was really fun last night!

Last night, I volunteered at a fundraiser for the preschool where I teach part-time. I didn't have to play music--I volunteered as a wine pourer.
Many of my music friends were there, some playing, some just hanging out and enjoying the festivities.
I also was feeling pretty social (no doubt because wine pourers at an event like this can drink some of the wine they're serving) and made some new friends.
The wine I was serving, a red from JR Winery, was REALLY good. I think it was a Pinot Noir, and it was really nicely balanced. It's a local winery.
I'll post an "artsy" picture of my default wine, Trader Joe's Charles Shaw Cab, at the top of this post. It's a "young" $3.00/bottle wine that is surprisingly good for the price.

@TheHorse Yeah. But it's outrageously expensive now. It's about $3 a bottle. I remember when it was 75 cents!

@TheHorse A good high paying job like that just isn't good enough anymore. Even when you do Coma Consulting on the side.
