Yesterday is Mother's Day here in the Philippines, and while FB and other social media sites were flooded with Mother's Day greetings, we are also praying/wishing well for our mother, our motherland!
It is midterm election today for some national and local government officials. Voters will vote for 12 senators comprising half of the 24-man House of Senate, local representatives, governors, city or town officials.
Whoever wins especially in the Senate will determine our motherland's fate! I hope the 12 senators who will win will be the good ones; the ones who will aim to achieve a free, just and progressive Philippines. This is not for us, but for our children and their children.
Happy Mother's Day to all mothers on myLot!

My mom was too busy last Sunday because of the Election so I went to church with my grandma instead. But I was frustrated because they used that Church Mass to remind people about voting on election day, which really pissed me off.

@Letranknight2015 , that was bad church is church and not for a campaign project.I surely pissed me too, but glad our priest in CDO never did what other priests were doing, too malicious.

It depends on the church; some can be so conservative; they don't look at what is happening outside the church.
