Have you ever given up on some dream in your life?

All too many.

sometimes yes I gave up but eventually it comes back for some time.

I dreamt of being a roller skating star, winning the lottery, having a Corvette, discovering my super power of invisibility, and a whole lot more . . . these dreams did not come true, but oh well .

it depends on the person. It is always nice to dream but it is up to the person if the dream will materialize or not. But I think we should always keep on dreaming.

Sure there have been some dreams I had to realize would never come true. Now I am never giving up my dream of writing and earning that is for sure.

Yeah, it happened to me once too..

While I have realized most my dreams, I did have a few businesses that never panned out. I learned a lot and had fun running them, but they just weren't moving forward.

Oh yes there are plenty of things I gave up of course because of some obstacles and decision I have to make for myself. I just think of it as a passed opportunity and I always look forward to those that I am just pursuing right now. Those past dreams I cannot achieved I do not linger on it anymore and just looked forward to those that I can achieve.

I know, I have not given up my dreams. i put them aside for a while. When I was very young. I wanted to be a doctor, I did look into the cost and the time it would take and after looking into discovered it something I really did not want.

@WiseGhots I gave up the fact that I could not find the right person to have in my life and to have children with. I had a very bad marriage and had a miscarriage and so human children. I have had animals instead. I love all the animals I have had and my Sophie that I presently have.

I think so. It’s also affected by age I guess because your dream when you were might drastically change as you grow older. There are also other dreams that require money, a lot of it, so people tend to just give it up since money is not too easy to come by.

Sure. I think we all have. I think we all still give it a go from time to time. But reality and being able to see reality is sometimes a good thing. Enjoy your life, strive for your best accomplishments, and know when your dreams are maybe beyond reach. At the end of the day it is okay to just be who you are, for better or for worse, for good or for bad, for accomplishment or failure.

A lot really always wished I haven't but when it's not for you it's not for you

If I really want something I never give up until I get it.

I have given up on some. Actually they were replaced by others. Dreams change with age and stage of life. I have no regrets. Each day I am living for my current dream.
